Meet Gildardo. He is a 37 years old man weighing 566 pounds in October
2001. An Intragastric
Balloon was placed in him at that time, and was changed every
6 months on 3 occasions. On April 18th, the Intragastric Balloon
was removed, and a LapBand was implanted. At that time, he had lost
down to 451 pounds.
